Our pantomime in December 2011 was a version of the traditional 'Sleeping Beauty' story, written & directed by Bill Butler.
AV400 - The Easter Story
Performed in Holy Week, April 2011, this dramatised version celebrated the 400th anniversary of the Authorised Version of the bible. The production was directed by Michael Woodfield.
Jack and the Beanstalk
This production, in December 2010, featured for the first time three guest choirs, and help from the 15th Beckenham Brownies. the story was written & directed by Bill Butler.
Out of the Box
The Holy Week Play for March 2010 was compiled and directed by Nickie Cox, and featured a selection of words and music gleaned from a variety of sources.
Tom, Dick and Harry; the Whittington Brothers
Our pantomime in December 2009 was a twist on the familiar story, written by Danny Brooke and Marie Shallcross; Marie also directed the production.
He’s not Here
For Holy Week 2009 we presented a story written by Les Ellison, in which a group of people search for Jesus, but always arrive after the event. The production was directed by Nickie Cox.
Robin Hood, or Guys and Disguise
In December 2008 the pantomime featured a different story of Robin Hood, written by (and produced by) Marie Shallcross and Danny Brooke.

The Players have a production history too lengthy to list here, and you'd probably find it a bit boring anyway. Our regular annual fixtures are a pantomime in the Christmas period, and a drama of some sort for Holy Week, just before Easter. Some years we have been able to fit in other items as well, and have put on a variety of one-act plays, full length plays, staged readings, revues and old time music halls.
