Staged design – where the design is implemented over two or three years to spread the cost.

Consultancy:

Solutions to horticultural problems for Commercial and Domestic clients:-

Pests & diseases – general health check or in response to a problem; site visit and written report, off site testing where required.

Maintenance schedules – regular consultancy visits  ( varying from one per annum to bi-monthly) offering a health check on site, written report with proposed tasks for grounds men/ garden maintenance; monitoring that work that should have been done has been done; design – as in re-planting / replacement of specific plants or small areas. (It tends to be forgotten that shrubs have a life span...) This approach can save money by utilising the resources available in a more effective manner. It improves the communal gardens, benefitting both residents and landlords.

Tutorials

For example, for a homeowner wanting to learn how to take cuttings or maintain a small wildlife pond. Can be linked to a consultancy visit.

Tenants (through landlord/ letting agency).

Seasonal Maintenance:

Expert pruning - of fruit trees and bushes; in the correct season; with an associated health check. Often neighbours ask for this as a joint session – which is more cost effective for all concerned.

Small tree work – by qualified chainsaw personnel.

Specimen shrubs and trees.

Maintenance linked to consultancy visits.
