We offer a consultancy site visit and report to take an overview of your garden or to focus on particular problems. An overview could be a health check of your existing planting, with suggestions for a cure or replacement planting if that is whats needed. Particular issues could be your lawn, or pond, or pest problems – be that aphids or deer!

Trees

Many trees were planted before the current owner moved in and they may have outgrown their space.  We can work ahead of and with tree surgeons so your trees and surrounding shrubs are well maintained and conform not only with TPOs but also, for example, wildlife legislation.

Conservation Areas

In the City of London alone there are 26 Conservation Areas (compared to the rural Peak District’s 109) all which need careful consideration to even cut a tree. We are able to apply to the local councils for planning permission and liaise with tree surgeons where necessary to achieve the best for your garden and comply with local legislation.

Weeds

Is it a weed? Or one of our native species? Is it or will it be a problem? Before you get the expensive and possibly unnecessary eradication company in, let us perform a Consultancy site visit and generate a report that gives you the full information and suggests options to suit your budget. We are up to date on legislation and research Japanese Knotweed is the obvious enemy for many sites, but there are other invasive species that also cause problems.

Commercial Consultations

These can include health checking trees and shrubs, and discussing planting schemes, but they may also take on board Wildlife legislation or the impact of Japanese Knotweed. We can advise on improving your green environment and on greening the environment to help you comply with legislation.

Using the space

Whether you have 2 acres or a courtyard, we will look at the area as a whole. You may need a particular problem dealing with or a total rethink. Possibly you need effective sound barriers to block out a busy road, or a relaxing space for your workforce to eat lunch.

Domestic Consultations

You may have a soggy, mossy patch instead of a lawn or fruit trees with inedible fruit. We can help with a consultation visit and report that highlights problems and offers solutions to suit your budget.
